What we believe

We believe ownership matters.

If a person chooses to hold their own private keys, that control should remain with them.

Self custody is not only a technical choice. It is a different approach to ownership. The person who controls the keys has direct responsibility for the asset and does not need another institution to hold those keys on their behalf.

We also believe that convenience should not require surrendering that control.

A user should be able to choose self custody without having to accept an inferior experience, fragmented information or unnecessarily difficult tools.

Privacy is part of the same principle.

SIADE WHALES is designed to minimise the information it requires from its users. The platform does not need private keys or seed phrases. It does not need access to the assets being analysed. A public wallet address is enough to access the information that the blockchain already makes publicly available.

We also believe that financial information should help people understand rather than simply react.

Markets are complex. Price is only one part of what is happening. On chain activity, liquidity, positioning, technical structure, news and broader market conditions can all provide different pieces of information.

Our role is to bring those pieces together.

We have a particular view of financial infrastructure as well. We believe individuals should have the ability to maintain financial control without being forced to place ownership entirely in the hands of intermediaries.

That does not mean intermediaries have no value. Exchanges, custodians and financial institutions can provide useful services.

It means that people should have a genuine choice.

For us, financial sovereignty starts with the ability to own, understand and operate your assets directly.
