Allocation

Where every dollar sits — by coin, sector, wallet, network and theme; BTC and ETH against altcoins; how your mix has changed over time; and allocation targets that tell you how much to buy or sell to get back on plan.

Allocation shows how your money is split, from every angle that matters: which coins, which sectors, which wallets, which networks and which themes. It also lets you set the split you want and tells you how far you are from it.

Only coins that count towards your totals are included. Tokens kept out of your totals are not part of this page — see Unlisted tokens.

The five figures

Figure What it tells you
Largest position The share of your money in your biggest holding, with the coin and its value
Top 3 The share in your three biggest holdings together
BTC & ETH The share in Bitcoin and Ether, including their wrapped and staked versions, with the share in every other coin (alts) beside it
Stablecoins The share in coins pegged to a currency, usually the dollar, and how much that is
Effective assets How many equal-sized holdings your portfolio behaves like, out of how many you hold. 1 means that, in practice, you hold a single coin

Effective assets is the one to look at first. Holding 15 coins with 80% in one of them behaves like holding about one and a half. The number tells you how spread out you really are, not how many coins appear in your list.

By coin

A ring chart of your eight largest holdings and everything else as Other, with each share in the legend.

By sector

The same ring chart grouped by what each coin is: Layer 1, Layer 2, Stablecoins, Staked & wrapped, DeFi, Exchange tokens, Meme, AI, Real-world assets, Gaming & NFT, Infrastructure, Privacy and Other.

Hover over a sector in the legend to see which of your coins are in it.

How to use it: coins in the same sector tend to rise and fall together. Five DeFi tokens are closer to one bet on DeFi than five separate bets.

Mix over time

How the share of each coin in your portfolio has changed, day by day, over 1M, 3M, 6M, 1Y or ALL. Each band of colour is one coin; move the cursor over the chart to read the split on any day.

Beside the chart, each coin's share at the start of the period and now, and how much it changed.

The mix changes for two reasons: what you bought, sold and moved, and prices. A coin that grew from 20% to 45% of your portfolio without you buying more has done it by rising — and your portfolio now depends on it much more than you decided.

By wallet

How much of your money sits in each of your wallets.

By network

How much sits on each blockchain — Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, Solana, Bitcoin and so on. A problem on one network, or on a bridge to it, only affects what you hold there.

Themes

What your money is exposed to, in more detail than sectors — for example staking, AI, gaming or a particular ecosystem. Hover over a theme to see your coins in it.

A coin can belong to several themes, so the percentages do not add up to 100%.

Targets

Here you set the share you want for each coin, and the page tells you how far you are from it and what you would need to do to get back.

To set targets: click Set targets, enter a percentage for each coin you want to plan — for example BTC 40%, ETH 30%, stablecoins 10% — and click Save targets. The running Total shows what you have assigned and what is left for everything else; it cannot go over 100%.

Once saved, each coin shows:

Click Edit to change the targets or Clear to remove them. Targets are saved for the wallet selection you are looking at.

Nothing is traded on this page. To act on it, use SWOP or your exchange.

How to use it: decide your targets once, calmly. Then, after a big move in the market, come back: the page tells you exactly what the move did to your plan. Selling what grew too large and buying what fell behind is called rebalancing, and it is one of the few habits that works without predicting anything.

Holdings breakdown

Every coin you hold, eight per page:

Column What it shows
Asset Name and symbol
Sector Its sector
Networks The networks you hold it on
Value What your holding is worth
Allocation Its share of your portfolio, with a bar
Target Your target for it, when you have set targets

Click a row to open the coin's detail with your position in it.
