Finding your way around
The five areas of the site — Wallet, SWOP, Staking, News and Settings — how to move between them, the Wallet's side menu and wallet selector, and where the docs and articles are.
The site has five areas. This page says what each one is for and how to move between them, so you know where to look before you know what anything is called.
The five areas
Wallet — where you spend most of your time. Your portfolio, its analysis, the market, every coin's page and the whale movements, each in its own screen. See the Overview.
SWOP — the page of the desktop program that signs transactions, sends tokens and creates wallets on your own computer. Download it and see the current version there. See SWOP.
Staking — Ethereum staking: how much ETH is staked, what it earns, the queues to enter and leave, liquid staking and restaking, and the health of the network. See Staking.
News — crypto and financial news from 20 outlets, gathered as it is published, with an AI analysis of every story. See News.
Settings — your picture, username, password, support conversations and subscription. See Settings.
Moving between them
Click the whale in the top-left corner of any page. A menu opens with the five areas, and Sign out at the bottom.
Inside the Wallet
The Wallet has its own menu: a column of icons down the left side, each opening a different screen for the same wallets. Hover over an icon to see its name.
| Screen | What it answers |
|---|---|
| Overview | How much am I worth, am I up or down, does anything need attention? |
| Market | What is the whole market doing? |
| Whale alerts | Who is moving $25M or more, and where to? |
| Performance | How did my money actually do, against ETH and BTC? |
| Risk & returns | How much does my portfolio move, and how badly could it fall? |
| Allocation | Where is every dollar, and am I on my target split? |
| Diversification | Is my spread real, or do my coins all move together? |
| Health & security | Can any app still spend my tokens? Are there traps or scams in my wallet? |
| Heatmap | Which of my coins moved, and by how much? |
| Transactions | What did I buy and sell, and what did I make? |
| Activity | What exactly happened in each transaction? |
| Analyser | How does this wallet behave? |
| NFTs | Which collections do I hold, and what are they worth? |
Coins
There are two ways to look at a coin:
- In Market, click any coin to open its full coin page: statistics, chart, futures positioning, technicals and an AI reading. From there you can open Technicals and the Pro chart. See Coin page.
- In your portfolio — the Assets table, Top holdings, Your movers, the Heatmap — click a coin to see your position in it: amount, value, average buy price, profit and loss, with its price chart.
The wallet selector
At the top right of the Wallet screens. It switches between All Assets — all your own wallets combined — and any single wallet, and it separates My portfolio from the Watchlist. Totals only count wallets in My portfolio; watchlist wallets are followed without being added to your net worth. See Adding a wallet.
The (i) icons
Most figures and sections have a small i next to their title. Click it for a short explanation of what you are looking at. When something affects the data — a network still being read, a coin without a price — a notes about this data button explains it.
On a phone
The whale at the top left opens the same menu. In the Wallet, the Overview shows your wallet, total value, profit and loss and chart first, and every other screen follows as a list: tap a title to open it in place.
The docs and the articles
These docs are at siadewhales.com/docs, linked from the Docs button on the home page. The search box at the top finds any page: type the name of anything you see on screen — a column, a figure, an indicator.
Articles, at articles.siadewhales.com, publishes two longer pieces a week, open to everyone. See Articles.
