Creating an account

The four steps from arriving on the site to having a working account, and what happens at each one.

Signing up takes four steps. There is no email confirmation, no identity check and no card.

Step 1 — Your Ethereum address

You enter an Ethereum address. That address becomes your identity on the platform: it is what the account is registered against, and it is the wallet the analysis will read.

It must be a valid Ethereum address, starting with 0x and 42 characters long.

Two things to be clear about:

You are not connecting a wallet. You are typing a public address. Nothing is signed, no extension opens, no permission is granted. The platform only reads what that address already shows publicly on the blockchain.

The address does not need to be the one holding your funds. You can register with one address and track others. If you would rather not associate your main wallet with an account, register with a separate address and add the others afterwards — see Adding a wallet.

Step 2 — Payment

The subscription is $10 per month, paid in ETH.

The platform generates a payment address for your account and shows the exact amount to send. The ETH amount is calculated from the current exchange rate and held for a limited time, because the rate moves. If the window expires before you pay, the page shows "Price expired — refresh to continue" and gives you a new quote.

Careful

Send the exact amount shown, to the address shown. Sending a different amount can leave the payment unrecognised. Send from a wallet you control, not from an exchange account that might withhold or batch the transfer.

While you pay, the page reads the blockchain and waits. It shows "Verifying payment on-chain…" and updates by itself once the transaction is confirmed. There is nothing to upload and no receipt to send.

Step 3 — Your name

The page asks How shall we address you? The name you choose welcomes you each time you return, and it is the username you sign in with.

It does not need to relate to you in any way and it is not published anywhere. You can change it later in Settings.

Step 4 — Your password

Last step: you create a password and confirm it. It is stored as a hash, never in readable form, and there is no way for anyone — including the platform — to read it back.

Careful

There is no email on the account, which means there is no password reset link. Losing the password means losing access. Save it in a password manager before continuing.

Once set, the page says All set — your subscription is active, and you go to the Wallet.

What you end up with

An account consisting of an address, a username and a password hash. Nothing else exists about you in the system. See Privacy.

Signing in afterwards

On siadewhales.com, open Sign in and enter your username and password. You stay signed in on that device until you sign out or have been away for 30 days.

Forgot password? on the same panel starts the recovery, which asks for your username, the wallet address linked to your account, and a small payment from that wallet to prove it is yours. See Recovering a lost password.

When the subscription expires

Access to the analysis sections stops and the site offers renewal. Your account, tracked wallets and history stay intact — renewing restores everything as it was.

Renewal uses the same payment address as the first time.
