title: Subscription
description: What it costs, how paying in ETH works, when it renews, what happens when it lapses, and how to recover a lost password.
---

One plan, $10 a month, with access to everything. There is no tier system, no feature held back and no annual commitment.

## Paying in ETH

Payment is made in Ethereum, to an address generated for your account. There is no card processor involved, which is why the platform never asks for a card number, a billing address or a name.

When you start a subscription:

1. The site takes the current ETH price and converts $10 into an ETH amount.
2. That amount is **locked for 10 minutes**. ETH moves; the figure you are quoted does not move underneath you.
3. You send exactly that amount to the address shown.
4. The platform watches the chain for it, and activates the subscription when the transfer arrives.

There is nothing to confirm afterwards. The chain is the receipt.

### If the ten minutes pass

The quote expires and the page says so. Start again and a fresh amount is calculated at the current price. Nothing is lost by letting one expire.

### Your payment address is permanent

The same address is reused for every renewal and for [password recovery](#recovering-a-lost-password). It belongs to your account.

Funds sent to it are moved to the company wallet on a schedule, so it is not a wallet to keep anything in. Send the subscription amount, nothing else.

## Renewal

A subscription runs 30 days from activation.

It does not renew automatically, because an automatic renewal needs a stored payment method and there is none. Pay again to extend.

## When it lapses

Your account is not deleted and nothing is lost. What stops is access to the member sections — the Wallet, Staking, News, SWOP, the Pro chart.

The addresses you added, your settings and your support history are all still there when you renew.

## What is included

Everything: every Wallet view, every analysis, whale alerts, the Pro chart, News with its AI analysis, the Staking page, and [SWOP](/docs/swop) with the Whales OS image.

SWOP is not sold separately and has no licence key. It checks that it is a current version, not that you are a subscriber — but the download lives inside your account.

The [articles](/docs/articles) are outside the subscription. They are public.

## Recovering a lost password

There is no email reset, because there is no email address on file. What exists instead is a proof of ownership: the wallet.

To recover, you supply your username and your wallet address, and send **$0.50 in ETH** from that wallet to your payment address within 15 minutes.

The payment is not the point. The point is that it comes *from* the address the account is built on, which proves you control it — something nobody else can do without your key. The 50 cents is what makes the proof cost something.

> [!WARNING]
> This only works if you still control the wallet. If you have lost both your password and access to the address, there is no route back into the account. Store your password in a password manager.

## Cancelling

Stop paying. There is no subscription to cancel, no recurring charge to stop and no retention process, because nothing is set up to charge you again.

## Refunds and questions

Through the [support thread](/docs/support) in your account.
