title: News
description: A live newsroom of crypto and financial news from 20 major outlets, filtered and grouped by topic, with an AI analysis of every story — sentiment, impact on Ethereum and crypto, key takeaways — related stories, and a public link to share any analysed story.
---

**News** gathers crypto and financial news from the major outlets as it is published, keeps only what matters to the market, and gives every story an analysis written by Siade AI: what happened, why it matters, and what it could mean for Ethereum and the rest of the market.

Open it from the navigation menu: **News**.

## The front page

The page is laid out like a newspaper.

At the top: today's date, a **Breaking** ticker with the latest headlines scrolling across, and a **Live** marker with the time of the last update. New stories arrive on their own while the page is open.

Below, the stories are arranged by importance:

- **The lead story** — the most important story right now, large, with the next few beside it
- **Top Stories**
- **Featured** — stories with images, as cards
- **More Headlines**
- **Latest** — every other recent story, as a numbered list

Each story shows its topic, its headline, its source and how long ago it was published. Click any story to open it.

### Topics

Each story is labelled with its main topic: **Ethereum**, **Bitcoin**, **DeFi**, **Stablecoins**, **Altcoins**, **Regulation**, **Security** or **Markets**.

Stories unrelated to crypto and markets — sport, entertainment — are filtered out.

### Sources

Stories come from 20 outlets: CoinDesk, Cointelegraph, The Block, Decrypt, Blockworks, The Defiant, Bitcoin Magazine, Crypto Briefing, CryptoPotato, BeInCrypto, Bitcoinist, NewsBTC, CoinGape, U.Today, Watcher Guru, CNBC, CNBC Finance, MarketWatch, Yahoo Finance and Investing.com.

## A story

Opening a story shows:

- **The topic**, the **headline** and the **standfirst** — a one-line summary
- **The source**, the time, and the image
- **Siade AI Analysis**
- **Original article** — a card linking to the story on the publisher's website
- **Related** — other recent stories on the same subject

**← Back to news** returns to the front page.

### Siade AI Analysis

Every story gets an analysis written for someone who holds crypto, in plain language first and then with the technical detail:

- **Sentiment** — **Bullish**, **Neutral** or **Bearish** for the market
- **Impact** — **Low**, **Medium** or **High**
- **Summary** — the story in a few sentences
- **The analysis** — what happened, why it matters, and what it could mean for Ethereum and crypto, in sections
- **Key takeaways** — the main points in a short list
- How long it takes to read

It is generated by AI and is not checked by a person before you read it. Use it to understand a story quickly and decide whether to read the original, not as advice.

### Sharing a story

Once a story has its analysis, the **Share this article** button copies a public link to it. Anyone can open that link, even without an account: they see the headline and the start of the analysis, and the full analysis is for subscribers.

## How to use it

- **Keep it open during the day:** the ticker and the front page update on their own.
- **Read the lead and Top Stories first:** they are what is moving the market now.
- **Use Impact to prioritise:** a High-impact story deserves the original article; a Low one, the summary is enough.
- **Check the sentiment of several stories together:** one bearish headline is noise; ten on the same topic is a trend.
- **Connect it to your portfolio:** a story about a coin you hold is worth checking against that coin's [Technicals](/docs/technicals) and [Positioning](/docs/wallet-coin#positioning).

## When something is missing

- **"Couldn't load this story"** or **"This story has rotated out of the live feed"** — the story is no longer in the live feed; go back to the front page
- **"Couldn't analyze this one automatically"** — read the original from the card on the right
- **"No related stories right now"** — nothing else recent on the same subject
